You don’t OWN the customers in your DMS

How many times have I heard from dealers that they OWN their customers. If this were the case, after 5 years in business, they wouldn’t have to advertise again, those same people would keep them in business for the rest of eternity. The truth is that over 80% of the customers you have in your DMS are also in some other dealer’s DMS. Some are in three, four or five other dealer’s DMS’s. So who owns them, you or the guy down the street?
